A biggest mistake in life .. hit my husband

I feel bad for both of them, they both lose. Its a shame. I know hitting is never a good thing but from what i heard corporal punishment is used alot in some countries and maybe she didnt think it would be a deal breaker hear in america. And honestly i am struggling to figure out a grown man running to family and friends over a slap from a woman, it seems like someone said earlier he was waiting for a good reason to end it.

Na, she was only here two weeks, he made up his mind after she smacked him, he just told them for support i say. They prolly didnt know each other very long before doing the I 129F, thats my take.

Arguments happen if it was me i wouldnt stress a smack from the small hand of a woman, DEPENDING on what i did. but hey, some people have lived their lives and never even got into a fight, so they have no idea what violence really is and automatically chalk it up to them being violent.

My cathy has the habit of pushing me when i do something idiotic, to another woman she might actuallly move them, with me she moves herself i find it funny personally cause she keeps doing it. now if she did that and hit me in the face by accident, its nothing and im not gonna go ship her back to the phils, but thats just me and i understand and love her enough to forgive her for MISTAKES.

me personally, i learned early on not to play with my hands because if i make a mistake with a woman she might wind up on the ground and thats not funny.

This whole assumption that because she is a tiny woman she can hit a big, strong man and it will be okay is ridiculous. Maxx, you have no idea how big or small either of these people are. We don't even know the home country of the OP--maybe she is a power lifter from the Ukraine who hit a 5'2" man who immigrated here from the Phils. WE HAVE NO IDEA. So discounting this as being okay because she can't cause harm and he can is ridiculous. While I love the assumption that I don't know anything about this because I live in "ultraconservative suburbia," domestic violence is a problem everywhere, not just in urban areas (for the record, my area is neither ultraconservative nor suburban). It's unacceptable anywhere. Hitting someone is not okay--either the OP or the all-caps-typer, or anyone else. I resent the implication that because I don't advocate violence and I think it's unacceptable that I am out of touch with reality. Maybe you need to stop thinking of "little women" as not being able to cause harm. They do. Women beat their spouses and beat their children, and it is not okay just because they are women.

First i said if she is an amazon that changes everything.

Second, the average man is far superior in strength than the average woman. So i have to assume that most likly she is not bigger.

Third, as i said the OP is dead wrong for hitting him after two weeks because tehre is no way she should be close to her breaking point.

Fourth, the second poster who seems as if she was locked in a bad relationship with a fellow countrymen in the past, while it is still wrong to hit, it is wholly understandable that she hit him as she obviously reached her breaking point and she smacked him ONCE, that hardly qualifies as abuse and anyone pointing a finger and saying she was wrong should be ashamed of themselves, and yes i will assume that anyone who does such a thing lives in a small world where the ugly truths are hidden and all they do is show smiles, and im feel perfectly comfortable with making that assumption because i have lived in areas like that as well as the worst parts of the country and seen to worst parts of other countires as well.

could it have been handled different, of course, but hind sight is 20/20. To simply discount violence, even on a small degree is idiocy.

Take two small children, one is a bully and one is being bullied. sometimes the only way to stop a bully is to stand up for yourself, asking him politly to stop will get you knocked out. yelling at him will simply fuel his anger and give him more cuase to pick at you, telling an adult will simply delay the inevitable, standing your ground and fighting back might make him think twice the next time he picks on you, even if you lose.

all im saying is one smack from a women is NOTHING and hardly qualifies as abuse, unless she is an amazon. and i doubt either of the women who shared their experience with us are. its just my opinion that one was wrong and teh otehr was justified.

a man kills someone in self defence, should he be put in jail?

Boonraksa!

Actually i really feel sorry for u but to be honest u don’t love him as much as u r saying on this form it’s just love towards USA, money, freedom etc .... your poor husband was just a way of achieving these goals !

If u love someone so much u can’t have a petty argument with him/her let alone slap !

But he probably didn’t loved u either because he didn’t even said ( it’s okay don’t leave ) !

Sorry to say ur love was materialistic not love of 2 souls ! ( according to ur story )

excuse my straightforward attitude!
