QUESTIONS ABOUT EAD RENEWAL

hello everyone.

im new to this site and im hoping you guys can help me...

my now husband came over on a fiance visa - got and EAD granted - which expired on our wedding day - we are now married - he is doing adjustment of status and has also applied to EAD renewal.... i looked on the USCIS website today and it says that his EAD renewal has been granted ("we have ordered production of your EAD card" on 01/14/11) - however - it can take up to 30 days for the actual card to arrive in the mail.....

so my question to you is this...

now that the renewal is granted - can he go out and start working - ?? (while waiting for the actual card to arrive in the mail). we still have his first EAD card - which is expired but has all his details on it - and i have the online notice thing saying that they've ordered the new one - but can he work while hes waiting for it to arrive?? i thought maybe he would be allowed seeing as we still have the first one? he is not currently employed - but he has an employer wanting to sign him - i just wanted to make sure we were legal and legit before he goes of to work!?!?!

if anyone has any info on this it would be great -

Yes it's ok for him to go ahead and accept the job offer. He can show his employer the old EAD and a copy of the EAD renewal letter. The new EAD should arrive in abt 7-10 days so he should be fine.

11/19/10: Card Production text and email received again for I-765. I-765 Touched

11/23/10: EAD Received

11/29/10: Applied for ID and SS card

12/04/10: SS card and AOS Interview Letter received

01/04/11: AOS Interview..APPROVED!!!

01/13/11: Green Card Received

ROC JOURNEY

10/09/12: ROC Filed

10/12/12: Package delivered to VCS

10/17/12: Check cashed, but no NOA1 yet.

10/20/12: NOA1 hardcopy received. Dated 10/15/12

11/09/12: Biometrics Notice

12/04/12: Biometrics Done

01/04/13: 2yr GC expires

04/26/13: RFE :-(

05/22/13: REF Response Mailed

06/06/13: Text and Email update: Card production ordered!!!

06/10/13: USCIS update about card mailed!

great thank you. are you sure this will have no negative knock on effects for his adjustment of status to permanent resident.? just want to make double sure!!!

i doubt it...he should be fine. His EAD has been renewed so there should be no issue.
