Accused Arizona assassin Jared Loughner was crazy and kinky: He took photos of himself posing with a Glock 9-mm. gun while wearing only a bright red G-string.

In some of the images, which Loughner dropped off at a local Walgreens the night before Saturday's massacre, he is seen holding the gun by his barely concealed crotch.

In others, the unhinged college dropout is seen posing with the gun - the same one used in the attack - near his naked buttocks.

The photos came to light after Walgreens staffers turned them over to cops.

It is not clear when Loughner's seamy photo shoot took place - and the images were not made public.

The freaky twist in the rampage that rocked the nation emerged as grief-torn Tucson bid farewell to John Roll, the renowned federal judge gunned down in the mass shooting.

Under heavy security, nearly 2,000 well-wishers poured into the pink-walled St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, where a service was held for 9-year-old Christina Taylor Green a day before.

Roll served almost four decades on the bench, earning a reputation as a strict but fair-minded jurist who was so cheerful local residents nicknamed him "Mr. Smiley."

A Pennsylvania native, the 63-year-old father of three was appointed to the federal bench by former President George H.W. Bush in 1991.

During the funeral, Roll's older brother, Ed, described him as a man fiercely devoted to family.

After the Rolls' mother died, John Roll changed his middle name from Paul to his Irish mother's maiden name, McCarthy, "to keep that part of the family alive," one mourner quoted Ed Roll as saying.

Several dignitaries were among the mourners, including Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor and former Vice President Dan Quayle.

Roll was slain after he stopped by Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' voter meet-and-greet to reportedly thank her for her support in addressing the federal judge shortage in Arizona.

Roll was among six people killed in the massacre; 13 others were wounded.

Giffords, who was shot in the head at point-blank range, continued her miraculous recovery yesterday, opening her right eye several times and moving both of her legs, doctors said.

Loughner, 22, who was arrested with two 15-round magazines, a 4-inch buck knife and a plastic bag containing currency in his pockets, has been charged with multiple counts of murder.

Sources said the FBI has video footage of the bloody rampage.
