has anyone here know h0w much is the payment for excess baggage from EVA Airlines?

Excess baggage charges

Baggage in excess of EVA Air's free allowance will be subject to additional charges.

The piece system charge is based on the piece, size and weight exceeding EVA's free baggage allowance. It is much complicated, please contact EVA Air for details.

The weight system charge is calculated on the basis of each extra kilogram exceeding the free baggage allowance and can vary with the route. Generally it is based on 1.5% of the highest normal direct adult one-way economy class fare, only with the following exceptions:

1% (except within Europe) from Austria/Bulgaria/Israel, from Australia/New Zealand (Except 1.5% from Australia / New Zealand to South West Pacific), and from Europe/Middle East to Australia/New Zealand.

1.35% within Europe, except 1% from Austria / Bulgaria / Finland.

Different regulations and charges apply to special baggage, e.g. golf clubs, surfboards, windsurfing equipment etc. Please click here and contact EVA Air for more details.

never heard of this shady airline until now. they did not publish the cost so you got to call them. they work on the "points" system and will tell you how much you will pay based on the cost of your ticket?
