If she already has the B2 visa, she can visit but she needs to show very strong ties to Singapore (or Indonesia). If she doesn't have the B2 visa yet, she could try applying but there is no guarantee she will get the visa. :)

December 2009 -- Visit to Malaysia.

February 2010 -- Applied for B2 visa, approved.

March 2010 -- Visited US.

April 2010 -- Returned from US.

May 2010 -- Sent in K1 Visa application.

July 2010 -- Received NOA2 in 71 days from NOA1.

July 2010 -- Packet 3 received.

August 2010 -- Cancellation of K1 Visa application.

I just went through this same scenario. In my case, I already had a B2 Visa in hand and visited my fiancee in the USA just prior to lodging our I-129F application.

My fiancee wanted me to visit her again because she couldn't handle the long wait (like everyone else).

My understanding is that you can enter the USA while your K1 is processing, providing you have plenty of evidence that you will return home.

I wanted an official opinion, so I contacted US Customs and Border Protection. Their advice was to NOT attempt to enter the US while my K1 was processing. There is a big risk of being refused entry. (which would mean loss of cash and BIG disappointment.)

My understanding is that a refused entry will have no bearing on your K1 application, though.

It is a long wait but it would certainly be a good test of the the strength of your love.

We're meeting again in a neutral country. We are visiting my relatives in The Netherlands in February 2011 and hopefully this will maintain us until my approval.

In the end, the decision is yours!
