Hi - I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find information about the number of visas issued by country (like yearly?) I tried Homeland Security and USCIS but couldn't find it. Do the numbers even exist? I would also like the info on how many AOS applications are accepted by country. If anyone knows where I can find this it would be a huge help!

May 11 '09 - Case Approved 10 yr card in the mail

June - 10 yr card recieved

Feb. 19, 2010 - N-400 Application sent to Phoenix Lockbox

April 3, 2010 - Biometrics

May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

October 13, 2010 - Oath Ceremony

Journey Complete!

05/02/2007 Driver's License - Passed Road Test!

Correct, there are no quotas. However, if you'd like to look for data on actual application counts, this would be a good place to start - http://uscis.gov/graphics/shared/statistics/index.htm.

Thanks Agent Smith - that's what I was looking for. I know there aren't any quotas but I wanted to know just how many have been issued.

(I'm doing a paper about the # of visas issued before 9/11 and those after 9/11 and some analysis - I won't develve into the whole prospectus here ;))

A more interesting paper would be about how many visas were issued before the wide spread usage of the internet and then after the expansion of the internet.

but i concur with you, that would prolly be a more diversified spread after the internet explosion. at least one would think.

I agree that it would be a good paper - however this is my final paper for my Political Science degree so it might be a little harder to put a political twist on that question :)
