Hello

I am looking for advice from anyone that has been through the Embassy in Lima.

After 153 days From NOA1 I received my NOA2 August 7. NVC sent my application to Lima August 22nd

I have a few questions and will no doubt have some more future and would like to thank you in advance for your help.

Can anyone tell me the best way to contact the Embassy to find out if they have received my application and how long I should wait to do this?

Also My fiance has no way of obtaining any vaccination records. She did have some vaccinations when she was in school but the schools she attended are all gone and she has been unable to find any records at all. Also she has tried to find a Doctor or lab in lima that can do a titre test and has so far been unable to find any so it looks like she will have to have them done all over again.

Does the embassy in Lima require the vaccines before the interview?

As all embassy's differ can anyone offer me any advice about things that are specific to the embassy in lima or perhaps things to be prepared for?

Any advice you may have will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Again

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/inde...ru&cty=Lima - It says the best way to contact the embassy is by phone. When you call, make reference to the NVC number case.

Also, you may want to check this: http://lima.usembassy.gov/fiancevisa.html

The medical happens before the interview. As per the vaccine shots, I too didn't have any records of them. So the doctor appointed by the consulate asked me to run blood test for the diseases I had previoulsy taken shots for, so I could prove I had taken them.

For specific information, I guess the best way would be posting your questions to the regional forum.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
