Hello All

I'm a little confused about what fees my fiancé will need when he goes for is interview at the Kingston Embassy. Will there be another $355 application fee he will have to pay, or was that fee covered when I submitted the K1 and paid the $455?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated

The I-129F you filed was a petition, not a visa application. Your fiance will pay a $350 visa application fee and pay a doctor, clinic or hospital for a medical exam. Typically, these fees are paid in local currency, so whatever $350 is equal to in local currency and whatever the medical fee is.

There is no fee paid at the embassy unless missing as it relates to nvc/immigration. The only other fee is the fee that would be paid to DHL for delivery of the package which is USD $8.00 or $350.00 JMD (local)

Do not all K-1 visa pay the fee at the embassy for the K-1 visa? or does K-1 JA not pay fees for their visas?

As was stated you paid $455 for petition only.your fiance will have to pay for his visa in his country and medical and so on. In Australia visa cost me $420 AUS and Medical was $285, plus X ray and blood tests plus police report . So what ever it is in his country he can check that on US consulate/embassy site in his country.

This is incorrect, ALl K1 have to pay for their visa, it's a $350.00 fee.

Ok cool. So help me to understand. I made sure I said "at" the embassy however you stated that K1 visa applicants make their payments at a certain bank (ncb) and u referenced a link. Now... It is conflicting... So is the fee paid AT the embassy or AT the bank.

Thanks,

Ricardo.

Ricardo, it's paid at NCB - you have to bring the receipt to the embassy to be allowed in

Ok just wanted to clarify because you made it seem as if i was wrong when I said no payment of such is made at the embassy... the information was not inaccurate but insufficient.

Did you get the answers to your questions darling? Just to reiterate...

Your fiance will have to pay $350 visa fee at NCB. The receipt he receives after paying that fee will need to be taken with him to his interview (alongside all documents specified in Packet 3). In addition, he will need to pay for his No-Impedement form, his Police Record, and his Medical.

Hope that's everything. Good luck.
