Why ban the song? Why not bleep out the word like they do with every other sing with "obscene language"?

The song and controversy remind me of how many times The Clash "Rock the Casbah" has been played without bleeping. Listen close and the official lyric 'rock the casbah, rock the casbah' repeated as chorus several times is actually 'rock the casbah, f-ck the casbah!' never heard the song bleeped since it came out either.

"Money for Nothing" has never been censored to my knowledge either. It is aimed at poking fun at the redneck not a shot at f---ots.

Somebody already mentioned N word in songs and I was wondering does Canada use this same logic when it comes to the N word?

Remember when MTV actually used to have decent music vids ? It's been awhile, but you used to be able to see cool vids from the likes of the Stones, Tom Petty, etc....
