honestly i think this should get moved to the reports subforum just so people cant ###### about how impatient the OP is.that forum is filled with people bitching and moaning and whining and no one says a thing to them.

it seems like this website is going more and more down the toilet every day.if youre mad at your service center, dont take it out on others.and remember karma is a ######,SPECIALLY during immigration process where you dont know what will happen tomorrow, receive an RFE or denial

I realize that some of you think the wait is entirely reasonable and that the system is just fine. To you, happy waiting. Just please chill out on your contempt for those of us who find the wait to be patently ridiculous and the system horribly broken. We are entitled to speak out against this system just like you are entitled to speak out on how great it is.

I think it's almost a bit worse for some of us who have been through this twice. We know how much quicker the process /used/ to be. The first petition I put in for my ex-husband was approved in 91 days and that was back in 06'. Three months of waiting as opposed to looking at five months right now. It kind of makes me cringe.

But as someone else said, immigration is not our right. We just have to be patient and remember this is the start of a whole new amazing life, which is a gift.

i dont understand this part, why is it not a right?what defines it as a privilege and not a right when immigration is incredibly common?

Look...

I know how frustrating it must be. I imagine we all do and have had to wait at some level to see our SOs, even before filing for I129F whether you have filed before or not. I don't discount that at all and if I have made that impression on you, Al, I apologize.

But my point is the level of anger it seems you have at the USCIS when there must be some circumstances that have affected their productivity other than just slacking off when they undoubtedly have thousands of other types of visas to process including the thousands of other visas they must be processing, seems to be a bit unreasonable on your part. Further, the number of applications they must file increase every year, even that is reported in their stats that you are free to download at any time on their website.

As for my colorful language, I'm afraid none of you can change that. I get it from my daddy.

Either way, your time will come. Just hang in there, dude. I know you can make it.

After two weeks of fair progress (I would not go so far as to call it good), the Vermont Disservice Center gave us ZERO approvals on January 13, and so far ZERO for the January 14.

Have they had a relapse of the coma that prevented them from attending to their responsibility to United States citizens like the one they had in the last quarter of 2010?

What is their problem? Why don't they just do what we paid them to do?

Less then 1% of American Citizens will petition a family member,,That leaves 99% of the voters...who have no idea what we go thru or even to care about it. That should explain huh!!

Are you a USC? Real USCs know what their constitutional Rights are....Immigration is not one of them.

The system is not broken folks, the SCs are just very busy with all types of visas.

If you want to pay more so they can increase their staff, then let your congress know, if you don't like the background checking, might have to find a new country, I dont have comment for that considering the state of world affairs right now.

Maybe Zero immigration across the board would be best?

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

im not,and even tho it may not be a constitutional right,it is a part of human rights.

i live in a country where my government does everything and anything but taking care of the people let alone keep them happy and pleased, and thats what i dont get.whats the use of this government, when it cant trust its own citizens choice when it comes to choosing a partner?i mean i would understand if the wait problem was caused by i dk say a background check or anything ,as long as something was going on during the wait time.i would have completely understood it and appreciated it.what angers me and i think more than half of the people that are waiting is that there is no information as to why a case has to sit on a shelf for 150 days.you can tell us to withdraw the petition all you want, the problem wont go away,if i get my visa tomorrow and get off the website for good, someone else will join who will ask the same things and say the same thing.there is no point in arguing about this, because obviously none of us works for the government or has a way of letting them know about our opinion, but never the less, all a petitioner in waiting wants is an ear to hear without judging and comfort and support.unfortunately people who are done with their process sometimes forget that.

Ive been waiting on my N0A2 for so long now I can even remember I bygone era where people came on here for support and not to listen to braindead people spouting their mindless, hurtful comments. If you have nothing nice or constructive to say why don't you just do one?

to be honest I've seen your posts around the board and every time I come across it I truly feel for you. You are truly in one of *the* most frustrating waits I have seen only matched by a few others I have seen on the board.

To offer you support is extremely easy and you gain the respect that you afford.

HOWEVER,

to sit here and feel sorry for those that are over the top is difficult.

Just my two cents. Just not my personality.

But hey, to each his own.

Y'all enjoy feedin' that fire.

Truly hope you see NOA2 soon.

xo.

That is very true. I went to see my fiance over the summer and most people just assumed I would bring her back with me. I've had to explain the process to so many people. It's just not something that people are aware of; and I wasn't either until I started this journey.

As far as the difficulty of waiting; some people need to vent and others want encouragement. I guess we should just do what we can to help each other get through this the best we can.

And I am thankful every day for Skype.

most certainly, specially if VSC keeps going as slow as it is.you know when you see petitions getting approved, even if they are not yours, you feel hope, the fact that petitions are getting out of the way and one day when an officer reaches in a box he or she is going to grab your petition helps,i think thats why al gets so worked up ,not his not nearly anybody else's is getting approved.i just hope we all get done with this visa ####### as quickly and smoothly as possible

I suppose i just have faith that I'm going to get to marry my best friend this year. When this year? f* if I know. but I know I will get to and I guess that's enough for me. I'm just staying busy and when checking this site when VSC is maddeningly slow drives me crazy I...go outside? I don't know. I get away from it.

Don't get me wrong i totally pouted when i saw I got VSC. But what can I do?

It will be over soon.

All I can offer is that it will be over soon. I don't know when soon. just soon.

Agree, though.

Good luck to ya.
