Please note that those questions should be treated as topics for your daily, or however often you have them, discussions over time and not things to memorize.. Your SO needs to know about you not know a list of responses... it is a list of questions that provides different topics that the CO may ask about.. the questions are often worded differently and Thuy was asked the same question numerous times in different ways to be sure she knew about me and not just an answer from some study guide.. If you talk about these things and look over the list there should be no surprises.

thanks Scott..

:help: hopefully my wife willing to look at it... :help:

She doesnt need to look at it really.. you can use it for things to talk about and then you will be teaching her about you while you talk.. When my students ask me for a study guide, I give them a list of the topics that are covered in the exam and areas that they need to focus on.. Not a list of potential test questions.. this way when they study, they are going over the concepts rather than memorizing answers.. when it comes time to apply the knowledge, they need to know the concepts... same holds true with your SO and the interviews.. yes that was plueral as there could be more than one at the consulate and will likely be at least one more when she gets here..

Dont be surprised if she is asked something like, what kind of underwear does he wear? color?..

I'd love to read the CO's notes if he denied the visa claiming she didn't know the correct answer to that question. How would he know?

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!
