Hi, we got SIF on the 7th and CC on the 10th of Jan.. I have been looking at other people's timelines and havent seen any interview dates scheduled for Feb for Philippines for CR1 filers..... Whats going on ? Does that VISA Retrogression affect us?... The NVC people keep saying the same thing.... "Interviews are scheduled on the 2nd week...bla bla bla" .. any comments are appreciated, Maybe i am being paranoid...lol

10-26-10 NVC recieves our petition

10-27-10 NVC case # assigned..

11-02-10 DS-3032, I-864 Bill received.

11-02-10 AOS Bill paid.

11-09-10 IV Bill recieved

11-09-10 IV Bill paid.

11-15-10 Sent IV and AOS packages seperately via overnight mail.

11-16-10 IV and AOS packages received at NVC at 11:22am ..... Now the wait begins again :(

11-30-10 Both packages entered into NVC's system awaiting review.....

12-07-10 RFE. A simple fix , But i need to wait till replacement page of Ds230 arrives, then overnight the checklist stuff back to NVC.

12-15-10 RFE docs arrived via DHL from Judy...heading to the Post Office to overnight to nvc

12-15-10 Overnighted the RFE checklist docs to NVC

12-16-10 NVC recieves RFE checklist docs

01-07-11 SIF ..... Thank you God...

01-10-11 Case complete, now waiting on the interview date email...

01-24-11 Finally got the interview date. March 1 @8:30am Thank you God. Now i can be at ease

02-04-11 Wife got a letter from USEM in Manila rescheduling her interview... was March 1, now Feb 17 ... ;)

02-07-11 Medical, day 1 of 2 (Passed)

02-08-11 Medical, day 2 (Passed)

02-17-11 Interview.... APPROVED.....Thank you GOD

02-28-11 Visa in hand!!

03-14-11 Departing Manila for her 24 hour flight to me

03-15-11 My baby is HOME!!!

03-21-11 Welcome letter and GC received

Visa retrogression does not effects on your case since you CR1 filer. Yes it is standard time for NVC schedule for visa interview second week of the month. You could get it before then...May be around last week of january AND Good Luck!!

12-20-2012: SENT N-400 APPLICATION

12-21-2012: RECEIVED N-400 APPLICATION

12-27-2012: CHECK CASHED

12-28-2012: NOA RECEIVED

01-08-2013: BIO-METRIC COMPLETED

01-14-2013: INTERVIEW IN LINE FOR SCHEDULED

04-10-2013: INTERVIEW SCHEDULE AT 7:30 AM, TAMPA OFFICE...APPROVED:)))

04-23-2013: OATH CEREMONY AT TAMPA 1 PM...FINALLY USC.....

Visa retrogression does not effects on your case since you CR1 filer. Yes it is standard time for NVC schedule for visa interview second week of the month. You could get it before then...May be around last week of january AND Good Luck!!

Yea , I hope so, waiting for the interview date is more worse than everything else combined,...lol

I am getting ready to call the Nvc for the daily bugging :rofl:

Hi booger, my case completed a day after yours so we are in the same batch. i think we will hear something in a week or two.Good luck

I just called... yea you guessed it..... the same message as b4 ... The operators there seem to be getting more rude than ever... I guess I need to keep my mind off the nvc for a while...lol

the petitioner is NOT a USCitizen for any spousal visa

or

the visa type is NOT a CR-1/IR-1 (example - IR-5 for parents, petitioner is LPR)

Same here--they're getting kind of pissy...I wonder if they put a notation on your file every time you call or something, ha ha. I just...CAN'T...WAIT!!!! :D
