Time Question

Hmmm for us, we sent in the forms with an expedite request and the cover letter stating why and it had my fiance and his CO's signature. then after we received noa1 we called and ask if they approved our expedite request or not (we were expecting they wouldn't because it wasn't for a deployment, he would just be away and out of reach for three months making it hard to receive any notices especially for RFEs) and they looked it up and said that it was indeed expedited and we should get it soon. they did however send the noa2 to the wrong address as expected (we filed from Fort Benning, GA and put PA as the address on all forms) the noa1 was sent to GA and the noa2 in PA so we were in a panic as we thought the noa2 was lost!!! and it would $350 to replace it. turns out they sent it to his parent's house. so anyway i hope it works out for you guys the way you want it to and Goodluck :)

Thank you very much, I have sent an email explaning the situation. I will also call them when they open to see what the say about it. Hopefully they dont make the same mistake with the NOA2. I hope you enjoy living in the U.S. :)

militaryinfo.nsc@dhs.gov

that wouldnt work,OP in the USCIS website,in the contact US page, there are two email addresses, one for vermont service center, one for california, you can choose the one that is correct one for you The contact us page

the people you talk to on the phone are operators, usually they are clueless about the immigration process.we got informed that we got approved about a month after actually got approved, and i had to email the CSC to find that out.this process is beyond unorganized, you have to keep on reading, asking and calling to make sure they are telling you the right thing.

they only inquiry they can make on the phone on your behalf without needing any sort of evidence is when and if you pass the five months time frame, other than that, you have to do everything else yourself

The phone operators are beyond clueless. They are totally lost in space. They are so lost in the void that they are still telling that ridiculous nonsense from the beginning of December that "we are presently working on July 10".

Why is USCIS even bothering with this proverbial screen door on a submarine? Does anybody there truly believe that we are stupid enough to believe their ridiculous nonsense? Why don't they get rid of these useless people and spend the money on more adjudicators and actually move petitions faster?
