The I-131 (temporary travel permission) is free when filed in conjunction with the I-485. So you can cross that cost off. The I-130, on the other hand, is maybe the most important of all, and it does cost $420. The I-130 establishes that you are married and makes a visa number immediately available to you as the spouse of a US Citizen. You really need that, or they won't even process your I-485. So the total you need to pay is $1490. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
