Ok, so here's a fun one ....

I submitted my I-129F in June, and I rcvd my NOA1 on July 29.

With both my fiance and I completely frustrated by the estimated two-year wait once our petition arrives at the Embassy, we decided to cancel the petition, and I was just going to move to his country.

I sent the official cancellation letter to CSC on Aug 3, and as of today, Aug 27, the petition is still active and pending NOA2.

My question, after having devised a different strategy to endure the extensive wait, is how do I cancel the cancellation letter, ...... that apparently hasn't even been received and/or processed yet?

Is there a direct email address or phone number for CSC that would allow me obtain a real live person who might be able to explain my options at this point?

6/29 - NEW I-129 mailed to CSC

7/21 - NOA1 issued

9/21 - finally ... my first touch!!

9/21 - NOA2 issued

I'm sorry things have become a bit complicated for you. I don't know how you could cancel a cancellation request or whether that's even possible, but I'm pretty sure you cannot contact CSC by phone or e-mail. Letters are the only way.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

CSC no longer accepts email - apparently they stopped about a month ago. Maybe you should start with the customer "service" number for USCIS?

I would write to them and request that they disregard your prior request to cancel. Explain the situation, make sure that it has not yet been cancelled, ask them to reply letting you know the outcome.

I would just say onething to everyone on this journey

"Take a million years to think, dont waste a second to act"

An aerrow out of bow cant be returned back. pls no offenses but this journey is so stressful and hard that every single minute there is a chance to make mistake. so before we do something we have to be sure 101% is this the thing we realy want?
