I'm generalizing here, but I'd venture to guess that most chicken sh!t pansies who were too scared to get into a fist fight as kids are the ones with the paranoid fantasy that only by carrying around a big, heavy phallic object that shoots bullets will they feel safe. So lets just call it what it is. Certainly, people have the choice and right to carry firearms, but lets be honest about who many of them are and why they feel the need to use lethal force.

I just can't see it when you're jogging that you'd need a gun. There's a lot more common sense things you can do to ensure your safety than ###### a pistol into your waistband. For instance, not jogging at night, going with a friend, sticking to busy areas.

Ultimately it depends on where you live. It just isn't sufficiently dangerous where I live to make carrying weapons and realistic option. Perhaps in Florida it's different.

I'd have to learn more about the whole story before assuming anything. Did the teens have guns? Did they threaten to kill him? It's a shame it had to end the way it did, but I feel like some act like they'd rather the title be "jogger killed during a midnight run", just to be against guns. The jogger was an idiot also for jogging at midnight or 1:30am(another article says).

I don't have a gun but people I know do. And I just found out one of them carries around a really small one. (I don't know what they are all called, didn't grow up in a gun family). Some people act like we live in a utopia where guns could never ever have a purpose. I don't think it's cool for people to walk around carrying concealed guns, but I can see where it could be helpful in certain situations that happen, outside of utopia of course.
