Hi peeps :D

Just thought I would share our AOS experience, which you can read about here: September 2010 AOS post

The short of it is: PIPPO AND I PASSED! And...we'll be receiving 10-year green cards! Guess it was all in the timing :)

Thanks again, VJ...will pop in from time to time, but for the most part, we are done with USCIS (and some rude VJ members who I do not care to mention) till naturalization!

N-400 Timeline

02-23-2018: Sent N-400 Application online

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

Thanks! We got lucky...our AOS interview was scheduled a week after our 2nd year wedding anniversary! Hence the 10-year green cards :D

Tahoma, I will most certainly miss being here...but I haven't been too far away :D

If you guys only knew the unexpected blessings we have received early in 2011 :) (Getting the 10-year GC was one of them, of course!)

Rick and I are exploring some options for myself since I have not had much luck finding a job yet (that's the one thing that has eluded me since I found out I was pregnant last year)...but the good Man upstairs has somehow taken pity on us and answered one of my prayers! Will definitely keep you guys in the loop...am unable to provide much details...guess I just don't want to jinx it. lol Just trust me, it's all good.

Received some kind messages from other members that I have been able to help on their journey...it's good to feel useful again. lol Hope I can keep it up. :)

Congratulations for the smooth interview . Boy, you saved few hundred dollars for the ROC. lol

You won't have to worry about USCIS for 3 yrs down the road.
