Hi

I received I-797, Notice of action stating that my i-130 has been approved. The Notice date is as of November 23,2010. I haven't heard anythng back after that. At this point, do I do anything or just wait? I know I have to send the DS 2032 form. But does the NVC send it to me firt, and I fill it up and send it back? not hearing anyhtng from them is kinda making me nervous. Any comments are appreciated.

Well its not usual to go this long with out being contacted by mail by the Nvc . Your case was approved about 2 1/2 months ago so I would suggest you contact the NVC at the phone number listed on the Notice of Action (I797) and provide your uscis case number. The agent will be able to yell you if the case was received.

dthon you should definitively call NVC as soon as possible, its been too long. I called NVC and received my case number yesterday and it was approved by USCIS less than a week ago. so try calling and talk to an operator.

Read the links that OBX provided and read through some of the posts of people in the previous months that went through the NVC process. The NVC process can go quickly but you need to be pro-active and not wait for things to come to you.
