Dear all,

First of all sorry for posting another i-130 question.

Thanks for the input in advance.

Last year my father did a returning visa and was denied by Mumbai consulate because she said he technically abandoned the card and I guess officer was having bad day.

I did a I-130 for my father who is in India with expired green card.

I filed I-130 on July 26,2010 (received date).

Case was transfered to Texas on November 3, 2010.

Its been over 5 month no update. I called customer service they are saying all processing time are estimated. Should I worry?

don't 'worry' about his prior status - as it's been wiped out -

just focus on the current queue at USCIS, and when it's done, it's done -

later, when at NVC, get busy, as you've another queue.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
