Did you book your air ticket online? Do you still keep the email confirmation from airlines that matched your dates of travel?

Aaron and I had visited each other few times before we filed but we did not keep all boarding pass stubs coz we had not planned to step forward at that time. What we sent was air ticket confirmation emails from airlines, one boarding pass, some movie tickets matched the dates of presence. Our photos were not "film-dated"

You could also send proof of payment for the flight, such as a bank or credit card statement, along with the itinerary:)

You COULD send pretty much anything but paying for a ticket or printing an itinerary are evidence of actual travel, so not primary evidence of meeting.

Its not that you need to have any one specific thing to make this work. You need to simply supply enough stuff that someone who does not know you and whose job it is to be suspicious will believe in your intentions. Simply gather up all those little things with dates on them that you can. The visa copies in color simply show more effort and that can be rewarded also, a letter from a friend signed and dated is help, as is pictures and any receipt. If you truly want this, then spend 1 day to gather all you can, get a letter from a friend, write some info on the back of a few photos, run to CopyMax and make a few 20 cent copies or your passport and anything else with those dates and send it back. Its not rocket science to them, its just about going thru the steps.

Journey

09/16/2007 - Met her and her brother online in WOW

12/20/2007 - Exchanged emails and started talking a little

08/13/2008 - Went to visit her brother and see her for first time

multiple visits slowly moving from visiting a friend and working to more to see her

08/20/2010 - Forms sent Fedex

08/31/2010 - Check Cashed

09/09/2010 - NOA-1 (I-797C) recieved and dated 08/31/2010

09/10/2010 - Account created with USCIC and email turned on

02/01/2011 - On February 1, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

02/08/2010 - Packet sent to Costa Rica

02/15/2010 - Called, packet is there can come get it

02/17/2010 - Packet can be picked up

I do agree with you that passport stamps, boarding passes and receipts are strong evidence though.

To OP, if RFE is asking for passport stamps and if you do have one, that should be good. Credit card statements/receipts showing accomodation at hotels, dining @ restaurants etc to show that either one of you have travel to meet each other could be a source too.

USCIS tends to be pretty lax on meeting evidence for Canada due to proximity AND seldom getting passports stamped. But that's Canada, not the rest of the world.

Another thing that could work (well, it worked for me anyway) is sending in bus tickets with your names on them, if you had travelled long-distance by bus in the US or other countries. My ex-fiance and I had sent in bus tickets with the date and time on them, as well as our names, to prove that we had travelled together. If you had travelled together in the US by airplane, you could also send in the boarding passes since your names would definitely be on them and the dates would coincide with each other.

Sorry in advance if my suggestion is not valid, but it worked for my ex-fiance and I, we had no RFEs and our NOA2 came in a little over two months.

With your names on tickets taking the same bus, train or plane, that's primary evidence. Actually better than passport stamps and boarding passes but few actually have such evidence. Good stuff.

Among the things I sent was copies of the bordering passes when Irina and I flew from Moscow to Kaliningrad seats 19D and 19E plus a copy of my Russian Migration Card. It has Irina listed as host and my passport number on it. You have to carry it with your passport and if you lose it you have a very hard time leaving Russia as you have to give it to the border guard (I took the train to Poland) so you can leave. I did not have it translated as everything is written in Russian then again in English.

We also sent just pictures and travel documents (itinerary printouts and boarding passes). I do not know why we did not send copies of visa and photocopies of passport pages.

i am not sure what RFE means and how much time an RFE adds to overall processing time, but can someone suggest if it makes sense to mail this information now. I kind of do not want to get an RFE and have the process restarted.

Boarding passes are good. If the official looking at the evidence sees the itinerary and boarding passes (matches them up) that's good. Pictures aren't considered primary but they help. Out of the things you sent, only the boarding passes would be considered primary. When I wrote my "how you met" I mentioned the itineraries among other things. Wrote something like "Traveled and met from XXX to XXX, then YYY to YYY etc, Itineraries and boarding passes for trip XXX, Trip YYY etc are included in evidence of meeting section."

Depends on the officer you get, whether or not you will get an RFE (Request for Further Evidence). Either way, an RFE won't reset the whole process, it will mearly delay it 2-4 weeks (average), depending on how quickly you respond and how quickly they get to it. Just have copies of the passport/passport stamps ready to go just in case you get an RFE

The actual boarding passes will be sufficient primary evidence of meeting.

Hie mishab, no one has responded to your questions so let me try to help :)RFE means "Request for Evidence", and USCIS will send the RFE to you if they find your evidence to be insufficient. If it's sufficient then they won't send the RFE. An RFE needn't add a lot to overall processing time, but it COULD if you respond to them late.
