Didn't see a topic for us yet, so I've decided to make one. Sent ours off January 7th and was received on the 10th. Still waiting on NOA1.

Thanks to everyone on this forum I now understand this whole process a lot better. I was hoping to bring my wife down from Canada while we await the process however after reading I've come to understand the K-3 is no longer an option. So we'll just suck it up and wait like so many others have!

I was disappointed to learn that we have to travel out to Montreal for the interview considering there is a visa consulate in Vancouver, but we're turning lemons into lemonade by making a trip out of it when that time comes.

Also crossing my fingers that since we're from a low-fraud consulate that we don't have too many RFE's or hoops to jump through!

You should get your NOA1 by 1/14/2011. And NOA2 by 6/14/2011. Good luck.

I sent mine On Jan 5th, 2011, Received NOA1 yesterday, the date on the letter is January 12, 2011 and Priority Date is January 10, 2011 !

No text msg nor email received yet.

We send our AOS package (over 6 pounds !) on 1/25, and it was received at the Chicago Lock Box on 1/27 in the early AM. I am guessing next week will will receive our NOA1. My check has not gotten cashed yet though....

hello jan VJ'ers, i send ours off jan.28th, then the snow storm hit chicago, lol just my luck...havent heard anything no check cashed no nothing ...my postoffice says everything in chicago is shut down, so seeing how the lockbox is just a bank, it may be next week before any word....i just keep my fingers cross.
