Hello..

I was suppose to file for removing my condition last November 2010 but I wasn't able to file because we prioritized some legal matters. My 2yr greencard will expire by next month and we're just preparing to file this month. I just want to know if it will cause a delay of processing for my 10yr greencard?

Please I badly need answers and advice. Thank you!!!!

No delay, we filed our I-751 10 days before expiration of 2 year conditional status.

You need to file I-751 WITHIN 90 days prior to expiration, NOT EXACTLY ON 90 days.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Delays? Well, kinda.

The earlier you send it in, the earlier it will get done. So if you send it 90 in days before the GC expiry it will get done 80 days earlier than if you send it in 10 days before the GC expiry.

As long as they receive it within the 90 day window prior to your GC expiry date, it's all good. Sending it later [within that window] won't cause any additional delays, which I think is what you meant.

Have to be 3 years as a green-card holder, NOT 3 years since marriage, and NOT 3 years since entry to the USA as a NON-Immigrant. And this requires at least 3 years of marriage to same US Citizen.

Typically the earliest you can file a N-400 would be 1 year after you filed the I-751, I have seen some dealing with a long removal of conditions file N-400 before getting their I-751 approved, at 3 years of LPR status.
