I sincerely don't thing you should feel bad about receiving your NOA2 quickly its truly something to celebrate! However the under tone of the post is far from good taste...while it may not have been your intention it gives the feeling of pure mean spiritedness...just my opinion.

Coming from someone who has been waiting "forever" and doesn't know how long of a wait is still ahead for the NOA2 and doesn't really even know why, don't waste your time feeling bad or worrying about any of us, as we are already doing enough of that ^_^ Be happy, celebrate your success, and prepare for the next step. We're all here for one reason, to bring our loved ones with us. And if you are gotten one step closer to that then good for you! You have every right to be happy and excited, and everyone here should understand that and feel happy for you. Good luck to you in the rest of your journey :)

Thanks for the kind words from most. To JiaYou, I really do feel bad for those who have waited longer than I as I understand what they are going thru. I understand there is nothing to be done from my end but the processing order seems sad and unfair at times. Best wishes to all.

"have gotten"....ugh I hate typos

How you present your package has very little to no impact on how quicky it gets approved. USCIS takes it apart and reorganizes it to fit their system.

While you may be correct, mine was indeed VERY organized. I prepare proposals for the federal government all the time. So, I'm not sure if it mattered one bit here but I did treat this one as if it were going directly to Barack himself for approval. Of course, it was still five months though. He must have had some other things to do as well.

I am sure the package was beautiful, but I guarantee it was torn apart once they received it. :)

We filed our neatly organized application on July 23rd. Now we are counting everyday! I want to go over and help her move before I get into a busy work season which could start soon. Congrats - don't worry, be happy - blah, blah, blah - the only thing you owe us is to include us on your prayer list or karma list or whatever! :)

Thank you. Will do. :) We're Muslim/ Christian in our house...with lots of Buddhist friends. So, we have you covered. I have truly been sad for the Vermont filers. Its been unfairly long for you guys. Our best wishes to your family.

Mine was completely organized with tabs, etc....the attorney remarked about that. It didn't do me a bit of good. I don't think they care about the organization because they're just going to shuffle the papers around where they want them anyway.

I got mine done in 49 days and my AOS in just a month or so after it was transferred to CSC and while I'm sure luck played into it a bit, I also think that my highly organized and efficient stack of papers helped speed my petition along. Did you do that as well? Think about the adjudicators: they are human too. If they see someone's petition that's all neat and ready to go and just needs their rubber stamp, there's more human incentive to cross it off their list more quickly than others that are disorganized.

Hi Jennifer,

I am glad your NOA2 came in so quickly, in under 5 months. Please don't feel guilty about it. Remember that you have a fiance depending on you to do everything possible to secure his visa in the smallest possible amount of time. So grab whatever advantage you can, including the NOA2 that fell into your lap unexpectedly early, and stop feeling guilty about it.

Organization: Surely of minimal advantage, since lover level people are going to tear it apart anyway. But why not make it easy for them? After all, a mistake by them means delays for you. So why not give them every possible advantage in not making any?

Congratulations and feel free to boast all you want. Getting your NOA2 is a major accomplishment and you should be happy and scream it to the world. Good for you and your SO. I just hope that ours is on its way sooner than later.

I think it's good to come on here and let people know that things are still moving and update your timeline. Sometimes when things are sluggish, just knowing that they are moving along (even if it's not on your own case, but others') is helpful!

Congrats on your petition approval, but you aren't done yet! Don't drop the ball on the visa application! :)

I think this is something better to keep to yourself. Maybe it's just me but it comes across a bit more like boasting than actually feeling guilty.

:reading: Good point

Almost 6 years ago, our petition processed very quickly.

And we were elated.

But never from the standpoint of having the case processed ahead of others.

In fact, I never even thought of it that way.

And I don't know what would possess a person to feel that way.

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

I am elated that mine was approved, just like you were. I think you just read it wrong. Have a good night.
