Hi,

I'm just getting ready for the next stage of our process...anticipating the things I need to take to the consulate, like the affidavit of support. How much money does my fiance need to make? should I be concerned if he doesn't always have a large balance in his bank account? Do I need a co-sponsor?

Oh, and how the heck do you fill out that form? It seems rather confusing, and I'm wondering if anyone can show me an example?

Thank you so much. I love this site!

Hello :)

Your Fiance needs to make $18,212.00 a year if i'm not mistaken. If he doesn't make that you will need a co-sponsor...

Also your Fiance needs to fill the I-134 out :)

That amount of income is correct only for a household of two. The OP gave no indication of household size.
