laugh away dalegg, the truth hurts eh??

unless you can give me another good reason for why anyone would support Israel's recent actions in the middle east (and don't give me that ####### about how nasty old Hezbollah would hurt poor little old Israel..)

I'm simply stating that I bet most of these posters on these thread have Jewish heritage........ you can laugh but I've heard a lot more laughable quotes from posters like you!

...

and I'm British....that means we have a much more impartial, REAL view of what really happens in the middle east

What the ######? Maybe you get good news about the Middle East, but you seem to be pretty misinformed about American culture and demographics.

Joel your last comment only served to prove your ignorance on this subject......... re-read Bosco's post, Gaza is isolated not just economically but geographically, Israel controls the air space over Gaza and the seas around the coast of Gaza.... so would you like to tell me how they just bring in supplies by sea or air????

Riiight.....they cannot bring in any supplies by sea or air, and what do they do? They piss off the only

neighbour who actually *can* provide them with supplies, food and electricity and buy their

agricultural produce, by launching rockets into their cities. Very smart indeed.

Israel is their "neighbor"? Try occupier/oppressor.

Do you think the Gazans are perhaps a little pissed off too? Can any of us really imagine what it is like to live in a place like Gaza, Ramallah and Jenin? Do you think you would kiss the hand that beats you?

PARTICULARLY during times of war, it really puts things in perspective...lol....

I am dissapoited you miss Algeria, Morroco, and many more

The Arabic lands on that map is lebanon, Palistine, syria, Iraq, Yemen, Egypt and Saudia Arabia. The rest are not arabic lands. What the hell is your point anyway.

My take is that for every Risto, there has to be a Paul C. It's kind of a balancing of the universe and makes these forums more interesting.

Maybe I did not interpret it correctly, but I thought Paul's comment was sort of tongue-in-cheek, pointing out similar comments and labeling done by certain members of this forum about the "mean girls", "terrorist supporters", "america haters" and the routine suggestions that we only care because it is where our husbands are from, etc.

spot on Bosco, but again lost on the very redneck posters it was aimed at!!

good to see someone's awake tonight!

Well damn. Now I've been put in quotes and the word put in bold so it's looking like I actually might be a redneck. :( Maybe I am and I just didn't know it. I did some hard research on the subject and am starting to compile a checklist to see if I match. Let's see:

You've been married three times and still have the same in-laws. No

You think TACO BELL is the Mexican Phone Company No

Your state's got a new law that says when a couple get divorced, they are still legally brother and sister No.

Your house still has the "WIDE LOAD" sign on the back. No

You got stopped by a state trooper. He asked you if you had an I.D. And you said, 'Bout What?' Not yet

If you can burp and say your name at the same time, you're shur'nuff a redneck. uh oh

One out of six is not really conclusive though in my opinion, but I'll do some more studying.

Let's say the UN decides that we're to give Rhode Island to a homelandless people. We disagree, but the homelandless people move in anyways. Heck, it's only Rhode Island, why should we care that they took it? It's so tiny, and we have 49 other states besides. I bet the people in Rhode Island would care.

Yes, Israel is their neighbor. It's the only country they are allowed contact with.

If they don't see Israel as a neighbor, too bad - because Israel is not going anywhere.

They have no choice in the matter. They can accept the current situation and co-exist

with Israel peacefully (on Israel's terms), or continue their "resistance" ####### and make

things worse for everyone.

Occupiers are not Neighbors.

Another alternative is the rest of the world could wake up and pressure Israel to start acting in accordance with the Fourth Geneva Convention in their role as occupier.

another alternative would be for certain people around israel to grow up and accept the status quo, but that probably won't happen due to the "woe is me" mentality over there.

Woe is me? I am sure you would be Mr. Stoic living under the apartheid-like conditions there.

and people like you who support every action of Israel in the middle east make me just as sick!!!

and here's a nice posting before I sign off for the night:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/5289984.stm

MORE attrocities committed by the IDF, but I'm sure I can rely on the usual redneck posters to try and turn the truth around again.....

goodnight Y'ALL!!!!

YYEEHHHHAAAAAAAAAA

People who support terrorist make me sick. I can proudly say at a USCIS interview that I support Israel. Will you proudly say you support Hezbollah at your interview?

that's the difference

P.S. I'm not even Jewish

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Terrorism by the state is still terrorism, people still die. Besides the fact that many terrorists appear to be on the payroll of the state.
