Read the instructions for Form I-130.

You only file the I-130 and supporting documents for your brother. His wife will be included in the petition for him as a derivative beneficiary. You do not file Form I-485.

ditto

only the i130, there is a section to add his wife. they don't qualify for the i485.

thanks all,

I read all instruction for I-130, yet, they didn't state anywhere that how to file for my brother's wife.

aleful:

Can you tell me which section of form I-130 show that he can add his wife, since I already filled I-130, but I don't see anywhere there?

Thanks again

C17 Information about your alien relative

list husband/wife and all children of your relative.

That's where he would add his wife and children if he has any.

thank you aleful,

i did list out that section, but i thought they need more info about his wife more than that. So, i just want to make sure. Anyways, thank you again!

Ah, one more question. currently, he doesn't have any child to list in that section C17, but he would have one less than a year. I will submit the application soon this week, how will I update that information about his child later? send another form along with the child's birth certificate?

Thanks
