I'm not sure what your road map for success is; but I think I'll keep teaching them it's through hard work. Success is not guaranteed, so if they make bad choices then there will be bad results. I'm sorry; that's life. I'll just keep trying to teach them to make good choices. But thanks for your help.

Would there be exponential improvement of American society if funding that provides vaccines for children whose parents could otherwise not afford them were yanked, and diseases like polio and measles staged a comeback?

What are you on some kind of no sugar diet? Fruit is healthy, not as healthy as vegetables, but healthy.

And I'm wondering what kind of day of eating you would consider healthy.

It's not as bad as white rice or potatoes but anything high in sugar isn't that healthy. It ramps up the glycemic index. Unless you are exercising to burn it off right away it's going to turn into fat.

You are right on this! The fructose content in particular is a problem. The body can handle only a limited amount daily and when that is exceeded it becomes harmful. One of the worst things out there is the amount of high fructose corn syrup being dumped into so many foods! One of the reasons americans are so fat!

I drink/eat products with HFCS in them if I can avoid it. Try drinking a can of coke/dr. pepper after not having one for about a year... it's damn disgusting. If everyone did that, they'd realize how much pure ####### HFCS is.
