With only 65.8 people per square mile (as of 2000), I'd argue there are virtually no people in Vermont at all. Perhaps that would explain the low rates of... everything.

Except....Quebec has a lower population density than Vermont, less gun ownership, no ability to carry concealed weapons and their crime rate is more than 3 times ours. AND they have healthcare...sort of. At least they can come to Vermont when they want to see a doctor. They are also "richer" (higher per capita income)

Explain why we have a low crime rate with no gun controls please. Explain why we are different than anywhere else. Keep it simple and stick to the murder rate. You can explain why we don't need to lock our doors later.

At the moment I am setting up a Beck shrine in the desert where people can come for free tattoos and listen to Glen and Rush and Sarah and get Free CD's to take home along with some pretty heavy weaponry paid for by NK. We sit around and do meth and listen to the prophets on radio and Fox until I am sure they are crazy enough to be soldiers in the final war

Also notice that there is a huge lake that straddles the border (two actually) and there is no customs inspection point on the lakes! You put a boat in in Quebec and land it in Vermont, unload your drugs and drive them to Boston or NYC via Interstate 89.
