When is it right to avail oneself of the 2nd amendment?

I am the new brand of liberal Charles. The old lot are too soft and think the right will be nice to them if they are reasonable. The evidence is in that they will stop at nothing and no tactic is too low and Aneurin was right that there must be no let up until we the people run this country for the people and not the top 2% and their fawning camp followers. The USA has been following the European lead in social policy since 1860 and it will continue, albeit slowly.

When all the facts are in, and many are being withheld by the Sheriff of that county, you will see that this kid SHOULD not have had a gun but that the laws we have in place were thwarted by liberals. If we do not enforce laws we have, the answer is not more laws to restrict rights. You have not gotten all the facts in this yet.

Not to worry. Who needs guns when I have Google and YouTube. I am sure I can find out how to make a suitable weapon with the information on Google, and then watch a Youtube of some rube living in flyover country, that actually tried built it, and made a video of each failed attempt. The Bill of Rights has never been changed. There is no legal procedure TO change it. The Bill of Rights ARE set in stone. The constitution was not ratified until they were added to assure those things COULD NOT be changed. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Changing the constitution is not the same as changing the Bill of Rights. Get a clue.

Besides, tell me WHO has suggested a constitutional amendment to restrict magazine capacity.

The US is hardly a model of fiscal discipline, but the US government will

never, ever allow a US state to default. Not going to happen.

Americans are more supportive of steep reductions in government spending,

welfare payments, and other social programs than Europeans. Americans

are also more tolerant of economic inequality. When the shіt hits the fan,

there will be mass rioting and civil unrest in Europe. Not here.

In 1986 there were 5 states that allowed concealed carry of handguns to any law abiding citizen that wanted to do so. Your state was one of them. So was mine. There are now 42 states that allow that.

We had the GCA of 1968. It has been dismantled. The Brady Bill was eliminated by instant background checks. The (so called)AWB expired on schedule. The Supreme Court has ruled the 2A is an individual right. The Supreme Court has ruled that the 2A applies to states and localities. States have been forbidden to confiscate firearms in an emergency. HUD's ban on firearms ownership was ruled unconstitutional. Liability lawsuits against firearms manufacturers have been legislated out of existance. This year we will have a ruling on whether arbitrary restrictions can be placed on the right by challenging the age restriction to purchase handguns. When that is ruled unconstitutional, you can expect state AWB's and magazine restrictions to go next.
