you two start your own thread to talk about dribbling.

 You're not using the terminology correctly. Man, it's hilarious when people try to talk about something they don't know jack about.

You considered living where you live now.

I came here before I met a true conservative. Before that I used to hang out in Lagrange, Georgia and Northern Florida where they are commies in comparison.

Conversation in LaGrange:

I say " I like Tamla Motown - do you ?"

They reply "Yea, I like that <Nword> music too "

Me " Do you have segregation here"

Them " Hell no - but we have a sports hall for the white folk and a sports hall for the black folk"

It is absolutely the case that the trajectory of the USA is in a liberal and more socialist direction

Slavery, women's votes, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Civil rights, Minimum Wage - it's all one direction. Conservatives have been getting whipped in reality since the civil war when liberals managed to kill hundreds of thousand of them despite their squirrel guns

That direction will continue forever - so Conservatives are losers now and always have been in the USA. They get beaten and loose decade after decade and it never reverses.

The future and development and enlightenment of the USA is assured - it's just slower than other places

Does anyone have a gun with biblical verses engraved on it or 'you lie' or '2nd amendment remedy' or 'take this foreigner' etc

It's all the rage at the moment

I am taking my AR-15 in on Monday to have it engraved with 'The confederacy was easily beaten by liberals'

It would enhance it's value anywhere that I would consider living

coffee on my monitor

Oh God, here we go with the gun geek talk.

I always read these posts hearing Dustin Hoffman's voice in Rain Main

Bingo is where you must have got your ideas on how WW3 will look..

Who said anything about WWIII?

If Europe is so safe, then I guess the Bosnian war never happened?

Srebrenica massacre where 8,000+ Bosnians were killed by Serb forces? 20,000-50,000 women raped?

The siege of Sarajevo?

Here's a major European city, under siege, in 1996:

Evstafiev-sarajevo-building-burns.jpg

15 years is too long ago, I guess. Last century, right?

How about the Russian invasion of Georgia in 2008?

Georgia-woman-781804.jpg

Still think Europe's safe?

Only in a commie wet dream:

Reinstatement of slavery - no

Repeal of Medicare - no

Repeal of social security - no

Withdrawal of votes for women - no

Discontinuance of minimum wage - no

Privatization or discontinuance of social security - no

Repeal of Medicaid - no

Repeal of civil rights act - no

The right wing polls do not reflect the true trajectory of the country where the right are losers over and over and over again on REAL issues. I will settle for polls like that and REALITY like it is.

Rand Paul wants restaurants to be able to deny entry to black people because 'It's private property'

He is living in the past with the rest of the right wing who are losers in this game. Even George W didn't dare to repeal all the liberal progress of the last 150 years.

Let them cling to god and guns and right wing polls.

:secret: That is a Gallup poll. Hardly right wing. And try not to confuse Reactionary with Conservative, and I won't confuse Radical with Liberal.

Repeal of Medicare - no

This is not impossible. Medicare is in worse shape (fiscally) than social security is.

Privatization or discontinuance of social security - no

More likely than a repeal of medicare. The payroll tax holiday in effect right now, if not allowed to expire at the end of the year (it won't be) will harm the long term fiscal viability of the program even more than is already the case. The only 'out' will be to partly privatize it (which means diluting it for those who need it the most).

Repeal of Medicaid - no

This is the most likely to happen. It depends too much on cash strapped states and helps the poor. As you probably know by now, in America, programs that help the poor are usually the first to go. We'll subsidize Halliburton by starting wars and be happy about it but helping the poor is where we draw the line because they deserve it.

Radical simply means wanting significant change - I am a radical. It doesn't mean anarchist or terrorist and a radical can be a radical liberal and not even a socialist. Extreme conservatives who want to scrap

social measures are also radicals. Radical means strikingly different and not gradual.

All Conservatives are reactionary because they want to conserve the status quo or go back to the happy times of instant lynching and slavery and no money for the unemployed or the sick or the weak or the old etc etc. (Conservative heaven)

They react against the forward moving process of liberalization and have been dragged in the wake of liberals and socializers for 150 years in the USA

Show me a period when the country moved conservative in it's legislation and social structure ? I can't think of one.

Right wingers used to talk about a 'starve-the-beast' strategy wherein they could achieve their goal of ending socialist programs (Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security). As budget deficits become worse and eventually unsustainable and the public so conditioned to demand tax cuts, there will be no alternative but to end these programs. Guess what people, we are rapidly getting there! My guess is that medicaid goes first, along with drastic cutbacks on medicare. Whether the public will accept tax increases to pay for these programs remains to be seen. But I think it obvious that we are being steered toward crisis by the plutocrats who control the republican party and a large part of the democratic party.

Yup.

The only way to "win" in 21st century America will be to get in bed with big business and be happy with whatever crumbs they deign to throw your way.
