Loughner wasn't a vet of Afghanistan and never got into the Army. Phelps credits God with stopping the disabled vet who wanted to shoot him but the law and cops should get most of the credit.

If Phelps prays for more shooters, more likely that one of them will have a bullet with Fred's name on it.

Arizona shooting update: Westboro Baptist Church blocked by SB 1101

January 11th, 2011 9:02 pm ET

The Arizona Senate passed an emergency bill introduced on January 11, 2011 as an emergency measure to prohibit the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas from protesting the funerals of six Arizona shooting victims. SB 1101 states that a person may not picket or engage in other protest activities within 300 feet of the property line of a residence, cemetery, funeral home, church, or synagogue within one hour before or one hour following a funeral or burial service. The bill was drafted quickly to thwart plans by the known hate group who publicized on their website they would protest all six funerals.

SB 1101 was introduced by the following Arizona senators.

Senators Sinema, Aboud, Allen, Antenori, Biggs, Bundgaard, Cajero Bedford, Crandall, Driggs, Gray, Griffin, Jackson, Landrum Taylor, Lopez, McComish, Melvin, Pearce R, Reagan, Schapira, Smith: Barto, Gallardo, Klein, Meza, Murphy, Nelson, Pierce S and Shooter. It was unanimously passed and is expected to be signed immediately by Arizona Governor Jan Brewer.

Arizona Senate House Minority Leader Steve Farley spoke about the bill, "We need to protect our grieving families from having to go through the pain of being exposed to protesters.”

I would hope the percentage would be higher than that. I certainly wouldn't mind if he disappeared.

And make him a martyr like they made that Waco idiot, David Koresh? No, pass a law like they did, arrest him when he breaks it and prosecute and sentence to the maximum allowed!
