Passport Change during K-1 visa?

Hello guys. I have one dilema on my mind and I hope you guys can help me out. Me and my fiancee sent the petiton for a K-1 visa in September. My current passport expires in June 2012 so I thought it will be better when I go home in about a month to get a new passport since we still don't have the option to get a new passport through the embassy and you need to apply directly in my birth country. My logic is that if I get the visa and move to the states I would have to travel back just so I get a new passport so I thought it might be a better idea to do that now. So my question is" Would I have any problems with my petition or K-1 visa if I get a new passport?

Thanks a lot!

Cheers,

Nope. You will be fine.

I had my passport changed in between NOA1 and NOA2. I called up USCIS to ask if this would case any problems. They said not at all, just send them they copy of your new biographical page. :)

Don't worry!
