Hi everyone,

I notice a few members' timelines have posted "case complete" and are now awaiting their interviews. Did NVC contact you with this case complete info? I submitted the DS-260 online and mailed the documents to NVC a week before Christmas. We haven't heard anything yet but now I'm wondering if we should be contacting someone to find out if the case is complete.

The NVC will not contact you to inform tou that your case has been completed (documents reviewed). There are 3 ways to finf out 1- go onto the webite where u paud your Immigrant Visa Fee and use your case and invoice #. 2- call the NVC and speak to the agent and ask him/her, 3- check the automated system for your case status (least favourite). Now once your case is completed you will be notified of your interview dat et and medical appointment scheduling .

Thanks! I have been doing option 1 and everything is still the same, no updating so I guess my case is not yet complete. I checked the automated system too and nothing there. I`ll wait a few days and then call NVC.`I was getting worried because several others` timelines are similar to mine and they`ve already been contacted by NVC with an interview date. I`m so happy it appears that the Montreal backlog is being addressed!

SOMETIMES the automated system isn't updated to reflect any new info. The best place to check is in the payment portal THEN next best is talking to the human.
