No, I had it spot on, I claim that had the shooter fired less rounds he would have hit less targets, that's irrefutable.

That's what he does. Makes him feel clever and important. That's how some people roll.

Unless he was shootin Blanks like you.

Do you really think that makes any sense? Obviously you think it's clever and funny, but it's not. The shooter in the incident was not shooting blanks, he killed 6 people and injured 13 and he had no specific training as far as I'm aware. Had he been armed with a knife, he'd have had to be a lot luckier and a lot better trained to achieve such a high rate of casualties yet there are people trying to argue that nothing about the type of weapon he used made a darned bit of difference. Astonishing really.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

mc ... please try to keep focused ....

if the last 10 shots fired did not connect with an intended target ... then how could shooting fewer rounds result in fewer hits?

I have no further interest in this. Clearly you think this is important and makes you look smart. Let me assure you that it is not and does not.

actually this is only about trying to put logic into a false statement that you made to help clear up a fallacy.

you don't like to have logic applied to correct the emotion reasoning ... that's fine too.

It's a shame he didn't go to gun school as a kid and learn to shoot straight, he'd have had a far better hit rate I mean, 1 out of 3 of his shots missed any sort of target, hardly a marksman, right?

your sarcasm is missing the mark too.

now that you've gone there .... given your example ... would he have needed the larger magazine to achieve the same results?

I think this is a case of two sides not understanding each other.

First MC's point. If someone has no training using a firearm, more ammunition means more opportunities for hits - this is true.

Nattys point - Firing more rounds quickly does not mean more hits, it will likely be less. - this is also true. The best way to be accurate is to wait until after the recoil and control your breathing.
