yes,if you can show the evidence of your marriage was not the reason she came, she has to leave when her 2-year-green card ends.

I don't think it's that easy...Nobody is going to make her leave when her conditional greencard expires...she has rights too, she can ROC on her own if she has enough evidence of a bonified marriage. Like the OP mentioned in his post SHE CAME HER TO MARRY HIM and like someone mentioned above, if she had to give up all she was doing back in her home country to move her and start a life with him and has nothing to go back hme to, then she deserves to be here and he just has to deal with it.

Sorry for what you're going through OP, but NO you can't have her deported, at least without evidence of fraud.

Hello and good luck to all on VJ. Unfortunately, I didnt have good luck and although we tried hard for a long hard year, my marriage is headed for divorce. There is no need to get into who is to blame- it just didnt work out. Part of the blame could be age and cultural differences. Anyway, my question is since she has only been in the country for a year and and a few months, about the same amount of time we have been married, and we didnt stay married for two years, can my soon to be ex-wfie still be deported? I dont want her to stay in the USA- i think she will make my life miserable if she stays and since our marriage was the reason she came here, if that no longer exists, can i have her deported? any ccurate information will be appreciated. I hope and pray all on here have wonderful lasting relationships. i wasnt so lucky

Posts advising inappropriate action and containing information irrelevant to this situation - AND posted a year and a half AFTER the last post on this thread - along with posts discussing the inappropriate information, have been removed.

Please do not respond to stale-dated posts as if the situation is current. Whatever has happened has happened. The issue has been addressed, the OP has moved on, and the beneficiary has moved on. If the OP wishes to come back and update everyone on the status of this thread, that is one thing, but there is no value added in reviving an old thread just to post inappropriate advice.

Any further discussion in this thread other than the OP coming back to provide an update will result in it being closed.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
