with the vaccination, not much idea and not sure if she's required to. and with regards to going to the embassy its not necessary either. my fiance and i went there when he came here last nov and they just hand him a paper with the website where he can fill in forms letting them know that he is here (sorry but i lost it lol) so just check it on the USEM website.

If they are a USC and you are planning to get married there then need to go to embassy at some point to get the Affidavit in Lieu of a Certificate of Legal Capacity to Contract Marriage.

My doctor strongly recommended I at least get HEP A and HEP B and TDAP before I traveled there. Anti-Malarial tablets were also recommended depending on the location visiting also.

The Center for Disease Control website will recommend any vaccinations. I went in February to marry my asawa, and had not problems. As stated the only reason for a visit to the Embassy would be for marriage paperwork. Otherwise, she can register with the Department of State travellers advisory site. Basically if something were to happen while she is there, she would be notified if she needs to evacuate the country, and will also be updated about any changes to current travel advisories. Have a great time with your fiance, and I hope she enjoys the Philippines as much as I did.

OH yeah, Make sure she keeps ALL of her ticket stubs, and receipts and take PLENTY of pictures for your visa petition.:thumbs:

she doesn't need any vaccines however the US travel website suggests them..

my hubby asked the same thing but he ended up not getting any vaccines, it's up to her if she wants to get them..

and she doesn't need to go to the USEM if she will just visit you.. ;)
