Change of address with USCIS

Did anyone receive a confirmation letter in mail regarding a change of address, or just the typical email response:

" On ______, we responded to your request for more information concerning your case. If you have not received our response within 30 days from this date, please call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. " ?

We did mail in our amendment letter, and in a very timely manner we received this email update.

How else will we know?

I sent an overnight pkg to CSC that they got Friday, it was a letter about my case issues, but I also included a change of address, and I got that same email.

I don't know who you notified or how, but if a foreign beneficiary changed address while the peition is still in the US, there is no practical way to capture it, or any need. You could try to capture it once at the NVC, and again with the Consulate. USCIS is not going to send anything to the beneficiary.

I mentioned we mailed in an amendment letter, maybe you missed that. Ya, we were told we can't verify the change with USCIS, because only the petitioner's address shows up in their system. We will follow up with NVC once we get approved. Thanks

I received a letter via snail mail after I called and changed my mailing address. Moving during the process sucks because you always wonder if everyone at the USCIS has he correct address. Good luck, we have not been touched since 8 Aug. Payato
