CONGRADS MAN! I've been checking every so often to see when you would get the NOA2. You have to wait a couple of weeks, 3 weeks at most to get the NVC to pass the paperwork to Consulate in Laos. From there, you'll still have a bunch of stuff for you fiancee to do.

Just a few I remembered:

* medical exam

* crimial record papers

* engagement certificate from village chief

* lao family registry booklet

* lao ID

* lao passport

If you need anything, let me know while it's still fresh in my head. I know I still got the offical PDF from the US Embassy that one of the members on here sent me.

Congrats!

My NOA2 was dated 12/16, and my fiancee just got the call to pick up the packet today. So almost a month? Yeah, more waiting unfortunately..

Good luck!

They've always responded to me. Glad to see more Laos Petitions going through. Congrats again!

Just remember that when I was at the interview, the majority of people's petitions got rejected because of incompatible stories on how they met. Be sure to have her state exactly how you put it when you did your petition.
