Passport Stamp as proof

When I submitted my I-129F I sent a copy of my passport stamp to Mexico, but did not include the biographical page. Will they not regard my passport stamp because of this?

Just to not be confused, I did send a copy of my birth certificate. The issue here is proof of having met, NOT proof of being a US citizen.

Did you submit a cover letter with your application package, or a checklist indicating what the copy of your passport stamp was for?

If not, the worst that could happen is that they ask for your biographic page...or other proof like plane tickets or boarding passes.

Even then I wouldn't worry about it.

Problem is the passport page and stamp can come from any one's passport there is no proof that it came from your passport. In my case I had a dated visa to the foreign country attached to the page next to the entry and exit stamps, so this was solid proof that it was my passport that the page came from.

You need to attach more than just one piece of evidence that you visited fiancee sometime in past 2 years.

Boarding passes, hotel receipts in country, ATM receipts in country, other receipts from in country, some people take a photo together holding something that will date the photo like a news paper.

The question is, what are you using the passport for? If it for proof of U.S. citizenship, you need the whole passport. Yes, I know, the bio data with your photo should be enough for that, but they have a specific rule that says they want the whole thing if that is your proof of citizenship.

Did you give them your birth certificate? That is adequate proof of citizenship, so no need for the passport to establish that.

As for the visa stamp, the stamp alone will not fly as proof of travel since there is nothing to tell them that this came from your passport and not someone else's. But that does not necessarily leave you out in the cold, as other docs may be sufficient proof of travel, like airline boarding passes or a hotel receipt with your name on it.

If all of this blows up, it is no major problem (but certainly an annoyance and small delay), as you will get an RFE looking for more evidence of travel. Give them what they want at that time, and that should solve it.

Well, I can't say whether or not they will approve or deny it. Personally, I included two colour copies of my passport twice, once with the Proof of having met and then one for my proof of citizenship. In addition, I made a second copy of the page of my visa stamp and put that on top of the passport copies on proof of having met.

That said, I don't think I'd worry about it. However, if that's the only problem, then it's easily to me remedied.

I have other proof such as:

1. Copies of boarding passes/with itineraries.

2. Copies of ATM receipts.

3. Time stamped photos with my fiancee.

So as you guys mentioned I should be ok. Its just the passport stamp is such good evidence I wanted to include it. In the k1 guides they do not mention adding your biographical page with it if you are just using it as proof. Maybe they should put that in there.
