My interview is soon. I'm dealing with I-864.

Part 6. Question # 23. My current individual annual income is: $?

Should we write $0.00 as my wife is in Morocco for almost 10 months now? she's not employed, but her last tax return (2009) she made like $17 thousands.

or should we put the total income of 2009 as mentioned above?

Thank you heaps.

23 is current annual income, if not working then income is not the same as it was in 2009. You say 10 months, what was done in the other 2 months??

If did not work at all in 2010, I would still file a zero IRS return and attach a copy to the I-864. Also US citizen sponsor WILL need to provide US Domicile evidence, and show that living outside the USA was a temporary condition.

Probably will need a joint sponsor, unless US citizen has liquid assets that exceed 3 times 125% povertyline.

Moving this to the Embassy/Consulate forum, because I-864 is needed at time of interview, not when filing an I-130 DCF..

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
