There isn't much your representative can do about AP. They are checking out your background and in places with bad/ non electronic records, confusing names or pockets of anti American groups those checks are painfully slow.

i'm in the same boat guys. my husband was interviwed on august 19, 2010 and it's been 5 months almost and DOS still tells "pending AP". i really dont' know what to do anymore......
