I looked at my case status today and it showed the last activity was Feb 19

I wonder what kind of things they might be doing on the weekend.

Strange that you were touched over the weekend, but hey who's complaining? Hopefully this touch means good things to come for you in the near future!

I was "touched" on the weekend(Sunday as well)-but in my case I think it was just a system update. Haven't heard a peep since 12/11.

it's nice to be touched though :D

Hey! Maybe it's one of those contract workers loading it on a truck for CSC transfers :P That would be perfectly acceptable to me

My AOS file was touched yesterday, February 19th, as well! It was last touched 2 days in a row February 9 and 10 the day after my biometrics February 8th. Most interesting - but I am not complaining! I'm impressed:-).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Stranger things have been known to happen. You won't know until your case info is updated, or maybe it's just mean nothing.

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail

i did check on my status online last 2/19 amd i saw that my EAD was 'touched"????

last time i checked was 2/10 - time they approved my EAD, and i got my card on

2/13. so why would they have to update my ead when i already have my card

with me ? told hubby about it and he was amazed to see it too and on a sunday?

should the "touch " be for something else - AOS ?

they updated it because i applied for ssn? and they did change dates meaning they

have updated SAVE and put my name in it?

They really work in strange ways.
