I have a question about this. I just had my fiance sign and send the letter of intent to me late last week. I didn't include her address at the top of the page, but everything else went just as the sample showed. Are they that critical in that if her home address isn't included that I could get an RFE?

Thank you.

I dont know much about it but for safe play just have her address as the sample showed. Better spend a little bit longer time to make everything sure than in hurry but we dont feel safe after we send it. Good luck.

That's what I thought. I spoke with her last night and she'll sign and send out the new version tomorrow. Better to wait a few extra days than to worry right from the start.

Thank you.

It isn't critical that you follow the format of the VJ example letter. There is no required format for the letters of intent. The I-129F instructions say:

Provide original statements from you and your fiancé(e) whom you plan to marry within 90 days of his or her admission, and copies of any evidence you wish to submit to establish your mutual intent

That's it. A statement from each of you that you plan to marry within 90 days of the alien fiancee's admission to the US, along with your signatures.

That's a good point. I did read the requirements in the instructions again and I think I looked too much into the template set-up. She did write that she will marry me within 90 days of entering the U.S.A. and has signed it. That should be enough. Thank you.
