Yay.... my petition was finally approved on Jan 5. Got an immediate SMS, e-mail and status changed online. My NOA1 date is 7/22. I can't explain the relief and joy I am feeling. Even though we still have lot of steps but this feels awesome.

I sincerly wish and hope that you all waiting should hear something positive very soon. I don't know if helps or not, I had called my senator as soon as I had hit the 5 month mark. Senator's aide told me to hold on for 2 weeks and exactly 2 weeks later i got the approval.

Thanks for being the source of comfort and source of valuable information in this journey.

This is the list for the 112th congress which convened yesterday. Hope it helps. Most of the senators have offices which staff people to help with matters concerning federal agencies. They would ask you to fill a form which allows them to contact USCIS on your behalf.

First CONGRATS about ur Approval for sure u deserve tobe dancing the whole night for receiving this magical sms from USCIS after months of stress waiting and waiting hhhhh.I have a qst ur NOA1 is dated 21st July or u received it on 21st??? answer both qst thanks and enjoy ur Approval well.
