I’m just going to write what others are thinking.

Your posts lead me to the conclusion that you are some kind of idiot. Well meaning, I'm sure, but seriously. Don't speak for me in your 'what others are thinking'; it sounds like the thinking of someone overstressed, ill-informed and with his priorities out of whack.

I'm not even going to quote back the tripe you posted. This is not a woman who requires a tongue lashing--I think you should stay in your Regional Forum if that is how you (evidently all) think women should be treated.

When you are familiar with the way that envelopes are distributed for every Consulate on Earth, then you'll know what should be looked for and what should not. After reading for awhile, you might even learn that there are as many different ways to 'do' this process as there are people.

Since you think that making one minor error is sufficient reason to be strung up by the thumbs, you'll understand completely why I've posted this reply.

Consider yourself hung.

Jani, hopefully you've figured out now that this is not a fatal error, will not overly delay or inconvenience you and has an obvious and easy solution. Travel safely.

You may have to file a fresh I-129F and follow all the rules this time. This process has zero tolerance for error.

And your signature file should read:

I am wrong.

You're a strange character; I haven't figured out your motivation yet.

you need to go back to the embassy and get it re-sealed.... others have done this so dont worry... just explain you opened it in error....

Good Luck

Kezzie

Oh, Kezzie, thank you for those words...!

I was so destroyed yesterday when I noticed what I had done... Such an anti-climax... I called to my love one in the US, and cried in the phone... and then I felt even more stupid because he was by that moment at his friends house and couldnt do much more than laugh.

I really do feel like a stupid blonde.... "oh, an envelope! lets open it!!" duhh...

Well, really I do hope that it is not such a big thing, and that they can easily reseal it.

I'll let you know what happens............. tomorrow I'll call the embassy, and swallow a bit part of my pride Ive had for a while....

Yeah atleast you got one thing right, Blonds aren't that smart !!!. But your situation is not that bad. Call the embassy and let them know what happened and they will take care of you. Goodluck !!!

meauxna - If I'm not mistaken, I did not mention you in my response to "Jani" nor did I imply that that because she is a women that she deserved any type of treatment. In fact, I wasn't aware of her gender before posting my response. So you can squash your gender kick and save your name calling for someone who cares what you think. I did not direct any tongue lashing your way and I would appreciate the same. Besides, get all your ducks in a row before making conclusions or labels. You don't know me nor do I know you. However, I did not see a negative reply towards “Majizee” who obviously was posting nonsense. Also, if you cared noticed, I did post that this is a simple fix and also offered a solution.

By the by, I wasn’t aware that I was limited to my own “Regional Forum.” Is anyone else aware of this rule?

Uling, you missed a couple of things then.

The words "I think" do not imply a rule; it's a suggestion.

I think your reply was harsh and out of line and out of proportion to the situation.

meauxna - The million dollar question is... What makes my response and your insult any better? It doesn't! I can respect this last reply. By the by, you were also out of line for trying to tell me where I can post. However, I would like to put this behind us and move forward. Agreed...

You really do like to insult, don't you? Hopefully you were only joking, but you should know that not everyone understands this brand of humor.

Now, THAT was mean!

Jani,

You will learn that many people here are helpful, some are trolls, yet others offer dry humor.

gugu24 offers dry humor, and in my opinion, meant no harm to you.

You now know that opening the packet was a minor setback. You can fix that with some minor inconvenience .

Good Luck to you!!
