Do I need to file separate form for K-4?

Thank you!

Where is the link stating that G-325a is required for child over 14? No photo required?

Another question: does it take longer for the child to get approval/visa than it takes for his mother(my wife)? Will USCIS link two petitions together and approve them at the same time? (My wife's NOA1 was 12/26/2010). I won't file for her son until I receive his birth certificate, which will take at least a week.

You are the petitioner. You may be the boy's petitioner on the basis of a stepparent-stepchild relationship; you will need to include proof that you married his mother while he was below 18 years old (using his birth certificate and your marriage certificate), and proof that any marriages you or his mother contracted have been legally terminated (divorce or annulment papers). Since he is over 14 years old, he will also need a G-325A.

Thank you!

In the instruction, photo, G-325a are not mentioned to be submitted, is this correct?

I-130's directions only indicate G-325A is needed for spouse visa (CR-1) for husband and wife, the directions makes no mention that any other type of visa needs it, so no G-325A needed for step child. Step child will be CR-2.

No passport photos either.

Also I highly recommend joining and studying all you can on http://candleforlove.com that site will help you avoid the many pitfalls that happen at the Guangzhou consulate.

I am glad you asked questions about this, it would have sucked if you got to the NVC stage only to find out wife would be getting an interview for CR-1 only to have to later file for son.

USCIS usually links the files together, though I'd suggest that when you file the petition for your stepson, in the cover letter, mention that his mother has an ongoing petition and provide them the NOA1 receipt number.

Technically once your wife's petition is approved, his will be approved automatically.

I am glad to hear that, I will do as you said. Thank you very much.

I would simply attach a photo-copy of spouse's NOA-1 letter.
