Hello to everyone,

My brother would like to petition my father who is married (not to my mother), from what I understand by reading here we file an I130 for him and later on his wife can be added to his case but do we file a separate petition for my siblings (stepbrtohers and sisters) who are all over 21 or will they be added to the case also. Thanks for your responses.

You brother can file for his father. Depending on the age your brother was when your father married his current wife he may or may not be able to file for her. Each person needs a petition. The other siblings would each need their own petition and a very very long wait ( 10 years )

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Separate I-130 petitions are needed for Father and Mother, there is no derivative visa based on one petition filed for one parent. Parents get visa number assigned when petition is approved.

There are NO derivative visa either for siblings, additional I-130 needed to be filed for each, also siblings need to be biologically related, share a parent, cannot file for a step brother if do not share a parent biologically, can be a half-brother or half-sister. Siblings take years to get a visa number under F4 class

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
