I need your prayers! My fiance was in a cocktail competition this weekend for the chance to win the opportunity to represent St. Lucia through the Hotel and Tourism Association at a Carribbean Cocktail competition in Miami Florida.

We have not found out the results yet, but if he wins, he will have the opportunity to meet my family while in the states for that competition.

Please pray for us and the judges, and send your positive vibes. Thanks!

I am going to apologize ahead of time to all of you because I will probably have a lot of questions until he gets his visa but I just don't want to make any mistakes.

My understanding seems to be that in addition to sending my Fiance the entire packet I had sent to USCIS, and further information about our ongoing relationship I also need to send him an affidavit of support form that I can get online along with my tax returns, pay stubs and a letter from my employer.

I typed up a letter and wanted to see if I should add anything else.

Yes, can't wait for Vermont to start approving January!!! I'm working hard on proof, already have more than 100 pages worth of it. All categorized and in nice "OCD order" I wonder how much more I'll have at the end of the NOA1 waiting!

This is my last month at school, I'll miss my high schoolers... and working in general. Won't see much of that (work) for a while. LOL

Hello everyone and congrats to all that have NOA2.

I was just checking in to let everyone know that my vacation to the Netherlands went great. Once in Europe and at the customs desk, I expected at least one question but he just looked at me then my passport and then a quick stamp. So easy!! Also after getting back and again going through customs no questions, not one!! He just looked at me and passport then again a stamp. Easiest travel ever!!

ALSO.....we got our appoval notice (NOA2) via text message. Just after I landed I got the text stating we had recent activity on our account at the uscis site. So I was excited and then nervous not sure what that ment. Once I got home I checked my email and it confirmed an appoval for the K1 petition. What a way to feel better after leaving Mario. Now I know it wont be much longer and soon we will be able to set a wedding date.

Things seem to be moving faster these days so i'm hoping it wont be long for the rest of you. Fingers Cossed

Small updates for us...

- NVC received our case yesterday, so we have our LND#. They informed us to send an e-mail to update Kata's address.

- Kata sent out a new copy of his police certificate request to his friend who has to verify his identity, and then said friend is going to turn it around and send it in for us. Hopefully it'll get back to us in time before he goes home (expedited processing and fast shipping).

- Still no employment letter from my office yet. Ugh.

Right now, our plans are to wait and track our case through NVC to the Embassy. Hopefully packet 3 gets sent out before he goes back. Then we're planning on scheduling his medical as soon after he gets back as possible, and send in packet 3 at the same time.

Hopefully we only get delayed by the visit by a week or two.

Just checked my snail mail and low and behold the sacred NOA2! I did not even receive and email or text and on the website it still says it's in Initial Review... Almost there baby! Congratulations to everyone who has received their approvals and thank you LORD!

I don't know!!! We called a while ago to make sure we hadn't had any RFE's that we could have not received, they told us our probable date was June 2nd so that was the date I was considering and we got it one month before!! I'm so happy!!!! It didn't even take 4 months from NOA1!!! WOW!! I'm speechless!!

Congrats to all our latest NOA2's!!!

I think us Vermont filers need to make little shrines out of maple leaves, tiny skis/snowboards and a wee little thimble of pure maple syrup and just start chanting like mad at it "NOA2, NOA2..."

Find C_Maria, she is a member who already went through this. In her pictures, you can find packet 3, which is only a document, they scanned and put it there for all of us to see it. Good luck!
