Thank you so much for your reply!

So, what you are saying is that you think it goes like this

Sponsor filing:

#3 - Name of beneficiary

#10 - Name of beneficiary, filing with I-129f

Cosponsor filing:

#3 - Name of beneficiary

#10 - None

I guess this makes since.

I really appreciate it!

~Ashley

Yes, except I would add:

Cosponsor filing:

#3 - Name of beneficiary

#10 - None (Cosponsor filing with I-129f)

That way it leaves no room for miscommunication between USCIS and you. The best thing for you to do is read over the instructions that is provided for you on the USCIS website for the I-134, at least 2 times.

Where do you get this number from?

Based on January figures, there are 22,496 cases still pending.

Of those, 11,796 are at VSC.

That's 52.4% of the total.

P.S. January data just got posted today.

http://dashboard.usc...e=6&charttype=1

P.P.S.

The estimated dates for CSC finally stopped spazzing today.

They're no longer a month+ range.

They wernt exact figures, i was just saying from lookin at igors.

Looking at the stats you just posted, there are 12000 pending, and they only approved around 1000 in jan?? Thats not too promising......

Yeah, no kidding.

Every time they reveal more data on there, I feel worse and worse for the VSC people.

Although that may be a fact with her moving but you don't want to think like that  Its just going to eat you alive  Everything will get sorted out with VSC.

I've decided to quit checking up the status of my case because there is nothing i can do about it in between this 5 month mark. It seems like watching it just drives us crazy  .... well it drives me crazy. So i'm trying to let it go till May. That's just me though. I'm just saying lets keep our chins up and not let these statistics get the better of us. Its upsetting us more than it needs too and we will very soon be with our loved ones.

I agree with carl24.

The days that seem to go fastest are the days where I'm not actively thinking about the waiting.

Usually it's the weekends, when I have other things to distract me.

I remember a few years ago when the wait time was three months.

Never thought I'd be here waiting again.

Still, trying to make the best of the time.

Ah im not bothered, im just gonan wait and ring on June 6th on my 5 month mark.

Im going to TX in 3 weeks for 2 weeks, and then going again last week in June, so i see her every 6 weeks. Hopefully by the time i come back in July, itll be just past 6 months so hopefully i will have my noa2 and can book my medical. Then the plan is for ashley to come here 6 weeks later at end of august and hopefully by then i can go 'home' with her.... If not then ill just have to wait a little longer. But its all seeming v real now :)

Perhaps, but they were still dealing with the Haitian expedites right up until Jan 21, right?

February will be the telltale month, I feel.

Going to do some maths to make myself feel better and procrastinate from work.

So. Presuming VSC was moving at an equal rate in the first 21 days of January as it was during the whole of December, they ought to have approved 440 petitions in those 21 days (obtained by taking 2/3 of the 660 total approvals in Dec).

Which, given the total of 1350 approvals in January, indicates that 910 petitions were approved in the last ten days of January. Which gives us an estimate, during a normal working month, of an approval total of 2730 petitions.

The total pending is 11,796, meaning they've got around 10,000 pre-Jan petitions to clear before they get to us. Which, at the calculated rate above, would take about 3 and a half months to process.

So the VJ predictions of mid-July for VSC petitioners seem (at this stage) fairly accurate.

I really appreciate everyone that added to this information. I've been wondering about this. I wont lie though, the I-864 looks terribly intimidating!

Glad to see everyone is holding on strong! Back to hiding in the shadows.
