Nope, luckily he isn't, I'm the planner and organizer so I was the one who did the research here on VJ and put the package together. I told him there's a board I go to talk to others going through the same process and I printed out the guides etc. from here for him to read through but he's not on here :)

 Just like us :)

So, I just got off Skype with my baby, made him call to NCSC again about the problems with checking the case status online. They said that they are aware of the problem and IT department is working on it, but they can't give him the time frame for when it's going to be fixed. They also said that our petition is likely to be processed in 45-60 days  What was that? I hope so! What I had with me last time in December (didn't have to show anything though) was a certificate of enrollment from my university, bank statements showing I could support myself, certificate of health insurance and that's it. That's what I'll bring this time too. I am living with my mother right now so I can't show a lease agreement but I am hoping that that will be enough in case they ask. I'm planning to wait on his bed too when he comes home from work :D can't wait to see his face!

I sure hope you get the same reaction i did! If not better! I had such a hard time keeping it a secret. Lucky for me I had my mom and my best friend telling me not to give in. So for what its worth.....don't tell him heehee. Its sooo worth it to keep it a surprise even if you start to get nervous or overly excited!!

There is definately something unique about this group of filers. I do believe we each have been affected in a very positive way by our experiences with our significant other. It is very nice to have such a great group of supportive people here. And it is always nice to read such great stories of love and surprises from everyone.

Way to go January Filers!!! good.gif

That's great! Don't worry, we will all be there sooner or later :star: And for now we can just be happy for you :)

Good thing we got our own place and we even had an opportunity to choose it together. He rents out 2 bedrooms to his friends though, but it's all fine :)

Early April's fool day from USCIS? Cause when he called before they kept talking about good old 5 months...

Well if it is April fools, they told me Monday 35 days. I am beginning to wonder if there may be some truth to all of this.

I contacted CSC through their email address because of critical revisions I was advised to send in by the NCSC without an RFE. I followed up via phone to no avail, so I emailed them to verify that the revisions were put with my original file. The response in the email on Monday was:

Your case is in transit to an Officer for adjudication. You should receive a notice of action within 35 days.

Thanks,

Officer McClellan

That's actually the third report of a short estimate.

Two over the phone, one in e-mail.

So it isn't just one isolated incident of it.

Then again, we haven't seen much more in the way of recent approvals.

So I'm still maintaining my skepticism for now.

Skeptical, but just a little excited at the prospect.

Yes, it is one of 2 things. Either they have been instructed to give small time estimates to get people to leave them alone or they actually have a plan to continue to mix recent petitions with older ones. Since I was told specifically my petition was on way to adjudicator and Tuesday there was another 2/1 approval, I am thinking this information is accurate and not just a story to get us to leave them alone.

Hi everybody. We have a small nice flat in Brooklyn. About NOA2: I would say anything is possible. They could do late flings to get average approval time down to cover up for lack of progress. I hope it will work well for us.

I want it to be truth so bad, but for me it sounds too good to be truth. Anyway, if they approve your petition soon, I think I'll get more excited. So we just have to wait :)

I was also thinking that maybe VSC is planning on speeding up and get some work done finally, cause there weren't fast approvals from VSC unless it was an expetite case.
